### New startup CPU boost improves cold starts in Cloud Run, Cloud Functions

**0:10** · First up, we have an update to Cloud Run allowing for faster cold starts with a new feature called Startup CPU boost.

**0:16** · This feature will work with Google Cloud Run and Cloud Functions, second generation.

**0:21** · With CPU boost enabled, it will allocate more CPU usage during the startup, which will help with serving requests faster.

**0:27** · For some workloads measured, startup time was cut in half.

### TensorStore for High-Performance, Scalable Array Storage

**0:34** · Next, we head over to TensorFlow to talk about the newly announced TensorStore, allowing for high performance, scalable array storage.

**0:42** · This is an open source C++ and Python library that is designed for storage manipulation of in-dimensional data.

**0:48** · This offers asynchronous API, composable indexing, and so much more.

### Announcing the Launch of the Chrome Root Program

**0:58** · Next, we can head over to Chromium to talk about the announcement of Chrome Root Program and Chrome Root Store.

**1:03** · This program determines which website certificates are trusted by default in Chrome and enables a more consistent and reliable website certification process across platforms.

### Google Play’s $2M Indie Games Fund in Latin America

**1:16** · And, lastly, we can talk about the newly launched Indie Games Fund in Latin America.

**1:20** · This will be awarding two million dollars in nondilutive cache awards and hands-on support for small selected game studios in Latin America.

**1:28** · This program aims to help them grow their business on Google Play and is open to indie game developers who have already published a game, even if it's already on the Play Store.
