### Leverage Gemini in your Android apps
**0:10** · If not, now is the perfect time to leverage Gemini in Android.
**0:14** · Android can run a local model called Gemini Nano on select devices.
**0:18** · But to target all Android models, you can use Gemini Pro, which runs off device in Google data centers.
**0:24** · Gemini can be called via the Gemini API and Google AI SDK.
**0:29** · To get started with prompts and testing various interactions, you can use the new Google AI Studio to generate API keys, code snippets, and easily go from idea to app.
**0:38** · Lastly, you can import the fresh generative AI sample in Android Studio.

### Announcing the Global Gamers Challenge
**0:54** · This is an eight-week contest to design, build, and publish sustainable games sponsored by Flutter and Global Citizen.
**1:00** · The awards will be judged based on the following criteria-- originality and creativity, sustainable action and story, use of animation, and effective multi-platform development.
**1:11** · The contest winners will receive a trip to New York City in September and meet some of the Flutter team for a day of workshops and mentorship, and then celebrate with 60,000 global citizens at the Global Citizen Festival in 2024.
